After passing the Final MBBS examination, each and every candidate is required to undergo, one year –period of compulsory rotating internship at Lumbini Medical College and teaching hospital.

None of the NMC medical graduate is allowed to perform the compulsory rotating internship at other hospitals in Nepal. Maintenance of log book related to individual department is compulsory and the log books are to be deposited at Nepal Medical Council for Licensing Examination.
